We offer a 2 for 1 subscription for two people who reside at the same residence only. We know all too well how couples may fight over a printed newspaper and we want to do our part to promote peace and harmony.  You must call to receive this discount and prove that both emails reside at the same address.  This does not mean one work email and one home email for the same person.

We may at our sole discretion on a case by case basis, offer discounts for deserving individuals.  An example would be a military member stationed overseas, someone on a fixed income without notable assets, or other deserving individual. We will handle these by phone only and the discount may be anything from a reduction in price to a free subscription, but we will not entertain those that feel they just have to get something cheaper as we have already greatly reduced what we could have fairly charged for our publication.

Elected Officials

It is our policy to allow elected officials we cover on a regular basis a free subscription providing they request it in writing or via email. We feel those we report on have a right to to see what is written about them and we also feel it serves the public interest for them to know what news is relevant to the area. We do not extend this offer to staff, only elected officials. This subscription does not include an additional email address as other subscriptions do. Please remember if you are an elected official you must ask for this courtesy.
