2010 the year of the Small Town in Alabama - pdf brochure.

Due to construction, parking for football games at the high school will be limited.  If you wish to park on campus, you must arrive early.  Enter the campus by exiting off of Whitmire Street onto Hurst Street.  Turn onto the one-way street that runs between the stadium and main building.  Please follow the directions of the parking attendants.  Once the campus lot is full, alternative parking will be located behind the stadium.

Mr. Briskey
Principal, Leeds High School

From Chief Cook, regarding parking.

Due to ongoing construction at Leeds High School, parking for any extra curricula activities will be at a premium. Principal Briskey has instituted a traffic pattern for the school grounds. However, there will not be enough parking on site for all the cars anticipated to be coming to the games.

Off-site parking in the surrounding neighborhood is expected to be significantly increased over that from years past. Please remember that if you have to park on the street think first:

1. Do not block someone's driveway. When they call we will write you a ticket.

2. Do not block the road. If someone is parked on the other side of a narrow roadway then no, there is probably not enough room for you to park there. If the road is impassable for one of our big fire trucks then tickets will be written.

3. Do not block fire hydrants.

4. Do not park in someone's yard without the express permission of the owner of the yard.

5. Do not park on the wrong side of the road, facing oncoming traffic.

Besides being illegal, it makes getting back out into traffic too dangerous.

This list is not all inclusive. I'm sure there are more places for me to tell you not to park in. Make it simple for all of us and use common sense when attending any extra curricula activities this year.
